House Majority Leader Rodolfo Farias should inhibit himself from the scheduled July 25 hearing on the Ilocos Norte alleged tobacco excise tax misuse involving Gov. Imee Marcos.
This was the statement of Surigao del Sur Rep. Johnny Pimentel, chairman of the House Committee on Good Government and Public Accountability.
Pimentel believes that Farias should skip the House investigation to prevent politics from mixing with the legislative obligation of the House.
